Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what ClockDen (/) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms on this site, and we do not ask for your name or email address. We do not sell personal information.
Information stored on your device
The site saves your settings (for example 12/24-hour display, clock theme, the city you picked and your list of world clocks) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Location
If you press My location, your browser asks for permission and shares your coordinates with this page. They are used only in your browser to find your city name and time zone. We do not store them on our server.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web host automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working, and is kept by the host according to its own policy.
Third-party services
- Internet time sources. To show accurate time, your browser contacts time services such as Cloudflare and timeapi.io, as well as our own server. These requests include your IP address, as any web request does.
- Reverse geocoding. If you use My location, your coordinates are sent to a geocoding service (BigDataCloud) and a time zone service (timeapi.io) to turn them into a city name and time zone.
- Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
- Google AdSense. We may show ads served by Google. See below.
Advertising and cookies
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent for cookies used for ads through a consent message, and can change their choice at any time.
Children
The site is general-audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not keep personal data on our own servers, there is usually nothing to delete, but you can ask us through the contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
